I use this backpack for moderate hikes (~6 hours) and for school. It's super comfortable, with plenty of pockets. It has the quality (and price!) that you'd expect a Patagonia product to have, and I think it's worth the money.

My only complaint is that there isn't a hip strap. But this backpack is stylish, durable, and built very well.

I have been checking Patagonia (laptop) backpacks at Amazon for a couple of days. Finally, I ended up going to the store and getting one of the 25L models today. So my review is based on the initial issues, and does not entail a full product review. I would like to point out that the colors in these pictures are a little bit different than reality. I picked the magenta color, which really is a magenta, although it is pinkish in the pictures. The yellow/orange one is more like mustard tones. The yellow/turquoise is a bit more dull, etc. I recommend you check out the colors from other sources as well, like their own website, which can give you a better idea. Another issue is the size/volume. I was not sure if my ~15" laptop would fit in a 28L. It turns out that even the 25L bag has plenty of space for the laptop + books. I am 5'4", and the 28L also looked like a decent size to me, though a bit on the larger side. I do not like carrying around heavy bags, so I preferred the 25L. All the bags I checked are really light, which is great. So, if you like to carry more stuff around, I recommend the 28L. The 32L was basically huge for me, I think it is more appropriate for taller/larger people. In any case, the bag will not add much to the weight so no worries about that. Happy shopping!

This bag was perfect for me. I use it everyday for carrying items to and from work.It's just the right size and doesn't show dirt easily.
