I am very pleased with this order. Placed order 10/08/08 and received on 10/14/06. Everything was originally packaged and works fine. Only one minor drawback to this order, it was shipped USPS and I have NEVER had any success tracking orders over the USPS website!

Considering the fact that I stopped doing my own repairs on vehicles long ago, because of the lack of the necessary specialized tools, procedural knowledge, and the incorporation of advanced computer systems into vehicles, the installation of the wiper motor was relatively easy. The original wiper motor never worked 100% all of the time, requiring me to frequently stop the vehicle during a downpour, open the hood, and pound on the plastic shield over the motor's circuit board in order to get the wipers to start working again. Other vehicles of the same make had recalls issued for there defective wiper motors, but mine was not on the recall list. Sick and tired of having to deal with the original defective motor, I installed this motor. It was relatively easy to install, and required no specialized tools and only average mechanical skills. Now, my windshield wipers work 100% of the time, all of the time. The part appeared to be of quality construction, and actually appeared to be of better quality than the original wiper motor. What a huge relief not having to deal with a non-functional, defective wiper motor anymore, nor having to pay a fortune to have the dealership install the same defective type of motor that the vehicle was originally equipped with.

Unlike the rebuilt units available from local stores, this one arrived with the rubber grommets and ball mount for the wiper arms already installed. Those had to be removed from my old one and then reinstalled on the motor I bought from a local supplier. The latter required an impact wrench for removal. All of this would have been alright except that the rebuilt motor ran for only three quarters of one revolution before going up in smoke. This one is still working.
