I was annoyed with the manual sealing pumps and bags that always seemed to eventually leak and allow my stored food to get freezer burned. So, I did a lot of research before buying the Rival VS230. All I wanted was a vacuum sealer for meats that I buy on sale to go into my deep freeze, and I didn't want to pay $150 for it. The Rival VS230 is a basic sealer for a reasonable price.

Contrary to some of the one-star ratings here, I found the VS230 to exceed my expectations. I ruined a few bags getting the hang of it, but now it works PERFECTLY. It seals thoroughly, and I have never had a bag leak air. The whiners who complain that it takes two hands to press down on the lid need to go to the gym. Yes, it requires a little pressure on the lid to start the sealing process. Big deal.

I have also had to email customer support when I accidently melted the drip tray when it fell onto the heating element in the dishwasher. They responded within 24 hours and, although it's true that they do not have replacement parts, they bent over backwards to remedy the problem.

I highly recommend this item for anyone who needs a basic vacuum sealer to keep meat and other food items fresh. It seals far, far better than the manual sealers, and the bags can be put directly into the microwave or boiling water to reheat the food inside. My only regret is that I did not buy this sooner.

I was disappointed in this product after laundering it. It lost the "sateen" look and all items needed to be ironed in order for them to look decent enough to use again. Having to iron an entire sheet set is ridiculous!

The sheets appeared to arrive in good order, and were wrapped and presented for Christmas this year (2007). The new owners called me, however, AFTER washing the sheets initially (always recommended), and told me there appeared to be "blood on them". Now I know I got good deal on them, but did they wash away the evidence from a crime scene? I wanted to send them back, but was told they would "manage to make do" with them. I feel horrible, having given discounted "blood stained" sheets to my very good friends... I should have paid full price for unsoiled ones...

I have been taking Sun Chlorella-A off & on for a long time & I am here to tell you I can sure tell the difference when I am not taking it. My energy lags, I feel lathargic, my skin begins to look pasty & I end up usually getting whatever local bug that is going around at the time. Oh yes, the bowels kind of slow down too. The reason there has been lapses in taking the product is that it is quite expensive & some months my budget just does not stretch enough to buy a new box. It's true that the Little Giraffe Chenille blanket is not as thick and plush as the ones made 5 or 6 years ago. However, it's still a beautiful blanket and I'm glad I was able to find and purchase it for the newest granddaughter. Her big brother is 5 and still must sleep with his. He has two of the older model (thicker) so one can rotate through the wash. The binding is still in good condition. Holds up unbelievably.

I searched extensively for a moderately-sized, inconspicuous and sturdy DSLR bag before landing on this one. I absolutely love this bag considering it looks like any normal hiking backpack. I feel that my gear is adequately protected and cushioned inside the compartments that are fully customizable. The weatherproof zippers are a nice touch; however they are difficult to open at times (a really good problem to have).

I compared to other well-known manufacturrs (Canon, Kata, Lowepro & Tamrac)and in the end, decided to go with Tenba. I was hesitant at first because I was unsuccessul finding ample reviews and information but I must say that I was pleasantly surprised! This bag meets all my needs and more - not to mention it has a very appealing look and feel. Most importantly, due to it's subtle look, it doesn't scream, "HEY thieves, I contain high-end camera equipment....please steal me!"

For my needs, this is a great bag -- very much what I was hoping for but didn't find in the Kata it replaced.

Context:
I was looking for a small bag to handle a consumer DSLR body with a couple lenses, couple flashes, and various supporting odds and ends. An effective tripod/monopod attachment mechanism was critical for me but space for a laptop was not. I cross-shopped the usual brands (Lowepro, ThinkTank, Tamrac, Kata, Crumpler).

Pros:
- Very sturdy construction; the material feels heavy but the bag's weight is very reasonable
- The interior layout is wonderfully efficient and it carries quite a bit. I have it filled with a Nikon D90 (Tamron 70-300 VC attached), Nikon 24-85 F2.8-4, Nikon 28mm F2.8, Nikon SB700 flash (in its bag with stand, filters, etc), Yongnuo YN-560 flash, a Canon P&S (SX200 or SD1100) Tamrac AA batter case (fully loaded), the included memory card carrier, IR and radio remotes for the D90, a Lumiquest light modifier kit, an 8"x12" softbox, a lens cleaning kit, and either my (cruddy) Sunpak tripod or Manfrotto monopod and pistol grip on the back.
- As you would guess, it isn't light when packed totally full, but the bag distributes the weight quite well. It feels much better to me even with the tripod on than my Lowepro Slingshot does (obviously without the tripod).
- The pass-thru (or not) side pocket design seems very handy although I haven't tried the pass-thru config since I have it jammed full.

Cons:
- As another reviewer said, it is not as quick to remove the camera as with my Lowepro Slingshot. In a perfect world, I'd like it a tad faster but this has not been a significant issue. The weather-sealed zippers are not lightning fast, but I'll take that trade. The other constraint is how tightly the camera is seated. I suppose I could reduce the loading in the bag to improve that, but the secure fit is pretty useful and if I really wanted speed more than comfort/capacity I would just switch to the Lowepro for the day.

Limitations (things I already knew and accepted when buying the bag but might matter more to others):
- Comfortable but tight with my D90 body; not sure how well a larger full-frame or pro body would fit.
- This size doesn't have a laptop slot. Personally I like that since I either don't take a laptop or am carrying enough other stuff that I have a separate laptop bag -- better to save the weight and space. The one thing I miss about this is that the laptop sleeve would be a great spot for the softbox and other folded items. I lay them flat across the top of the packing segments instead, but if you were carrying more mods I'd suggest considering going one size up in the bag.
- No waist belt to further distribute load. Not a big deal based on the size and weight of the bag, but if you want it you should again look for the next size up.

The backpack was used one time and the zippers broke. I contacted Amazon to exchange the item and found that you made the whole process very simple and accomodating. Kudos to Amazon. You sent a replacement backpack right away and when it arrived I used the packaging and provided shipping label to return the backpack. You even acknowledged receipt of the package. Good job. My only hope is the backpack doesn't have problems in the future with the zipper. It seems to be rather cheap, as in a plastic zipper not metal to hold up. Tenba is a major manufacture of photographic backpacks and I assumed they have a quality product. I'm keeping my finger crossed. I'll continue to buy with confidence from Amazon. Thanks.

This was a favorite scent of mine 13 years ago and still is today. Even when I am broke I buy the rollerball but think I will manage to break down and buy a big bottle here soon. In fact, it's the ONLY perfume I will buy (as I don't even like perfumes; I prefer body lotions and butters that smell light and fresh.)

The scent is definitely light and clean, VERY CLASSY. Just a little story: three months ago I left my husband after a ten year abusive relationship. I took my small children and fled to a shelter leaving money and home behind. It was such a stressful time for me, you have no idea. Anyhow, even amidst all that turmoil, I found myself stopped dead in my tracks when I walked into the counselor's office and something smelled absolutely delightful. When she told me it was Issey Miyake I found myself smiling and getting excited. How could I be so silly and not recognize it?? Especially when I had just bought it the day before I left my husband, lol! Yes, L'eau D'issey is a classic fragrance bound to stop anyone at anytime. Sexy, classy, to die for...it makes a bold statement without a bold smell.

I absolutely love this fragrance. It's pretty much my HG (fellow MUA-ers, anyone?). The tragic flaw of this one, though, is that it just doesn't last on me. I've worn it everyday for the past 2 years or so, so maybe I've just gotten so used to the smell that I no longer notice it except upon the initial application. I hope this is the case, but I've since started looking elsewhere because I do prefer a heavier scent.

I'm a remodeling contractor and I was looking for a cost effective way to not spend my life hand-nailing joist hangers. I bought this gun and have used it extensively in the short time that I've owned it. It fits into small spaces, just as advertised, and is very easy to use, just as advertised. The only thing is that it takes a little time to get used to how you need to position the gun to depress the nose enough to get it to fire. (It's a little different than most nailers since the nails actually stick out). This is a great tool and if all you need to do is shoot 1 1/2" nails, this is the way to go. It pays for itself on the first big deck you do!

I originally purchased a Porter Cable palm nailer, thinking that this was going to be the best [and only] option for hammering home the hundreds (ok...thousands) of nails required to fasten all of the hurricane ties and joist hangers for my 500+ square foot deck.

Thankfully I was wrong and happened to come across this nailer which I was more than happy to add to my collection of pneumatic tools.

My joists are 12" on center and this gun fits as promised in that tight space. Yes - it would be nice if the magazine held more nails than it does, but if that were the case, it wouldn't fit between the joists. I've shot over 1,300 nails so far, both 10d and 8d, and haven't had a single jam...which is good because the nose of the gun doesn't open to clear jams similar to my other porter cable nailers.

I'm a 1-man operation, and using this gun has allowed me to do 75% of the framing for the 2-level deck in less than a week of working only at night after I get home from work.

Overall, I couldn't be happier with the gun - with that said, I still haven't even used my palm nailer - I guess that I'll save that little guy for another project. The only downside to this nailer is it's versatility after the project is over...unless you're going to put a few decks onto friend's houses, it's not an 'around-the-house' nailer, since it won't fire if it doesn't detect a metal strap that you're trying to shoot through.

If you're in a trade long enough you start getting excited when new, well thought out and engineered tools appear. A while back, the JLC reviewed the Bostitch StrapShot metal connector nailer. After reading the review I knew that there would be a job in my future that would be THE job that would be the perfect excuse to purchase this nailer and put it to use.

Oh Baby!! Where have you been all my life! During the age of dinosaurs we used to beat in teco nails with rocks. That was kind of hard on the rocks and our fingers. Then during the middle ages we would beat in those blasted nails with our 24 oz. serrated face framing hammers. Did you ever notice how the holes in the metal connectors were always just a little bit tinier than the loose (not collated) teco nails? If you didn't hit that frickin' nail with just the right amount of blast the hammer would home in on the nearest thumb and index finger - usually yours - and scrape off a nice thick layer of skin.
Then came the last decade of the 20th century. Homo Constructus Almosterectus, evolved to the point where we actually could nail those pesky metal hangers with our pneumatic framing nailers. The only thing you had to worry about was placing the tip of the nailer near the hole the nail was meant to go into. For those who had difficulty achieving this, numerous jokes involving hair were coined.

Along came the Bostitch MCN-150 StrapShot nailer. If there were a Nobel prize for innovative tool development, I would nominate the boys at Bostitch. It fits in tight joist spaces, it actually uses the nail point to locate the point of aim and after 1 week of daily usage, installing many hundreds of Simpson connectors, I can honestly say we had not one misfire.
If you're in the building business and your crews aren't using this nailer chances are they're not making you any money either. The only complaint I have is the local lack of nails for this gun. Until they become available I'll just keep on ordering them up on Amazon.

Where to start. First of all this box fits flush under the seat
you just need to muscle it in a little bit. What you do is you
stick the box as far back as you can while the bench seat is in
the up position, and then give a firm push when you bring the
seat down. This will make the box flush with the seat. Now this
is where the problem starts. I have a Rockford Fosgate p3 10"
shallow mount sub in here and is connected to a pioneer 1200 watt
300 rms and it sounds decent when it's not under the seat where it
belongs. But as soon as the seat puts pressure on the box the fit
is so tight that when my speaker flexes it touches the ground
therefore distorting the sound. I gave it 3 stars because it sounds
good when not under the seat, but I have to sacrifice 2/3 of the
back seats on my 2004 f150 extended cab with 2 full sized doors and
2 shorty doors. I will be upgrading to a ported box that has space
so the sub is flush with the box.

Thought I could make this box work for me. Wrong! I have a 2009 f150 super crew and this box is loaded w s series Alpine sub. I've spent some time messing w this trying to figure what is the cause of the horrible distortion like sound the sub is putting out. I've elevated the box as much as possible w still being able to lower seat and still the sound this puts out can barely be considered bass. I believe that the space below the sub is so small that the energy dissipation into the floor destroys the sound the sub puts out. When seat is lifted sub sounds great. Only have To sacrifice my back seating. Don't waste your time or money and make the same mistake I did!!!

Fits nicely, but not perfectly under the rear seat. The box sticks out beyond the rear seat about 1/4 to 1/2 additional inch. This isn't enough to be too annoying, but is a bit disappointing. Additionally, the terminals leave a little to be desired, and only accept smaller gauge wire. However, considering the cost, and the specialty of the design, the few flaws this has are outweighed by its overall convenience and ease of installation.

Shorts are decent but fly zipper broke after 42 days and 2 rides. I am not dissapointed with shorts- i understand things happen. What I am disappointed with is the service by the Dept of Goods. I Acutully would order the shorts again but not through that company. They are unwilling to do anything and would only refer me to Fox Products. I'm fairly confident Fox will address the issue but Dept Of Goods should of.

I got this for my Mom for Christmas. She's into organic and locally produced food, so its right up her ally. She loved it and says its already fruiting quite well after only two weeks. Considering the fact that I stopped doing my own repairs on vehicles long ago, because of the lack of the necessary specialized tools, procedural knowledge, and the incorporation of advanced computer systems into vehicles, the installation of the wiper motor was relatively easy. The original wiper motor never worked 100% all of the time, requiring me to frequently stop the vehicle during a downpour, open the hood, and pound on the plastic shield over the motor's circuit board in order to get the wipers to start working again. Other vehicles of the same make had recalls issued for there defective wiper motors, but mine was not on the recall list. Sick and tired of having to deal with the original defective motor, I installed this motor. It was relatively easy to install, and required no specialized tools and only average mechanical skills. Now, my windshield wipers work 100% of the time, all of the time. The part appeared to be of quality construction, and actually appeared to be of better quality than the original wiper motor. What a huge relief not having to deal with a non-functional, defective wiper motor anymore, nor having to pay a fortune to have the dealership install the same defective type of motor that the vehicle was originally equipped with.

Unlike the rebuilt units available from local stores, this one arrived with the rubber grommets and ball mount for the wiper arms already installed. Those had to be removed from my old one and then reinstalled on the motor I bought from a local supplier. The latter required an impact wrench for removal. All of this would have been alright except that the rebuilt motor ran for only three quarters of one revolution before going up in smoke. This one is still working.
